introducing ... the shrine of plenty value!

so, this is a little side project by me, Elen mai wyn jones, as a parallel to my installation work, addressing and challenging me and hopefully my audience, to explore the meaning of worth and value.The project was piloted at Chapter Arts 40th birthday celebration in the Art Carboutique event, where 40 artists formed a type of market stall, promoting and selling their work.This project will hopefully continue on a random as and when basis, and we shall see where it leads, if anywhere!

the shrine of plenty value at milgi this sunday! 3rd of July.

hi there the shrine will be making an appearance at the milgi market this sunday, linking in wilth a knitted commission i have been working on for them. its kinda goin to be a personal reflection for me, on working with a corporate sponsor (red bull) and to be honest some of the conflict that arose form that. i will post pics up and let you know my findings!

youtube vid from mat the hat

so, coz im not in the mood to elaborate today, and need to sit down and work out my perspective on this work, im not goin to write a big long thing about the concepts of this. instead im gonna link in to this page a youtube vid that was taken at carbootique where i initially tested out my ideas. far easier straight from the horses(me) mouth, i think.
